Can Mockitt Exported HTML Be Used for Development?
Mockitt exported HTML is a browser preview of a prototype. It can demonstrate screen layouts, links, transitions, and sample interactions, but it is not a complete production application.
What the exported file can do
Use it for design review, user-flow testing, presentations, and an early handoff reference. Keep the exported assets beside the HTML file and test the preview from the same folder or the hosting setup recommended by the current export workflow.
What development still needs
A production implementation still needs business rules, authentication and authorization, data storage, API integration, error handling, security controls, analytics, automated tests, accessibility review, responsive behavior, and deployment configuration. A preview can show a state or interaction without implementing the underlying service.
Recommended handoff
- Share the prototype link or HTML preview for flow review.
- Attach screen specifications, states, assets, copy, and acceptance criteria.
- List every API, permission, validation, empty, loading, and failure state required in production.
- Have developers rebuild and test the behavior in the target stack.
Mockitt’s current AI or design-to-code features may produce additional code artifacts. Treat each output according to its documented format and run a code, security, accessibility, and deployment review before using it in a live product.
